How Many Marathons Can One Man Run?

Adam “Tango” Holland has been a supported athlete since late 2016 when we supported him in his successful attempt to break the world record time for 10 marathons in 10 days.

Since then throughout 2017 it has been one epic run after epic achievement after epic run. Adam is hugely inspirational being the youngest person to run 100 marathons at the age of 23 in October 2010.

2017 saw him break more records including running his 300th Marathon!

He is, to the end of 2017, up to 341 marathons/ultramarathons with 193 wins and 121 sub 3hr marathons.

We began our involvement with Adam as he was about to tackle the world record for 10 marathons in 10 days in December of 2016, he not only managed to do this but also became the first person to run each of those marathons in a sub 3 hour time.

2017 saw him complete 52 marathons or ultramarathons. Which included a 7 marathons in 7 days challenge and two 10 marathons in 10 days including smashing his own World Record 10 in 10 days at an average of 2:45:51 per marathon.

His remarkable year ended with a course record and win on the last day of the 3 marathons in 3 days at the Great Barrow Triple Tipple, a fitting way to end the year.

He is always happy to meet people at events and say hello, he also runs his own events under the MaraMile banner and information can be found on his website www.maramile.com

2018 looks to be another amazing year for Adam, he has already started well with some amazing results and events. Keep up to date with Adam on facebookwebsite and twitter

Adam has also put up some great videos on YouTube including this one about his run at the Endurance Life South Devon Marathon. Well worth a look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajUlUrGxxMY&feature=youtu.be
